(Special Welfare Activities for Senior Citizens)
In this modern age where most families are caught up with the demands of dual income, many senior citizens are left at home to face lonely days by themselves.
New Horizon is a community project, which establishes a support group for the senior citizens through once-a-month social activities. It organizes social gatherings, trips and excursions to places of interest, conducting in-house activities to bring wholesome fun into their golden years. Many senior citizens who have joined us have enjoyed being with their circle of newfound friends and look forward to each gathering.
Started in September 1998, this project has attracted more than two hundred senior citizens every month. It is exciting to see at each outing five to six bus- loads of them participating in healthy activities outdoors.
Effective from 15th July 2007, all cash donations made to GRACE COMMUNITY SERVICES, designated for New Horizon are tax exempted.
