I have come to realize more and more that the greatest disease and the greatest suffering is to be unwanted, unloved, uncared for, to be shunned by everybody, to be just nobody (to no one) - Mother Teresa

TURNING POINT
(Home for Juvenile Delinquent / Boys)

Turning Point opened its door in June 2003 to delinquent boys (from ages 13 to 17) who have missed their purpose and focus in life and have no determination to achieve something for themselves. Their parents and school authorities are facing great difficulties in disciplining them. The Home aims to restore the life of these teenage boys by imparting moral values, instilling discipline, encouraging and guiding them to discover their interest, assisting them to acquire living skills and rebuilding their self-worth.

Our two-year program includes the restoration period, the discovery period and the integration period. The home has given shelter to twenty-five boys since its inception. Those who returned to their own homes have shown improvement in their character. Some continue their studies; others are now working as apprentices.

Effective from 15th July 2007, all cash donations made to GRACE COMMUNITY SERVICES, designated for Turning Point are tax exempted.

You can help Turning Point by:

  1. Donating cash or kinds for the centre operation.
  2. Providing skill training such as carpentry, motor repairs, welding, hand crafts, etc..
  3. Giving free tuition and computer lessons.
  4. Visiting the home to spend with the boys.
